Arnie’s English classes for children and teenagers use Cambridge’s “English in Mind” learning principles. Classes consist of 5 levels: Starter, 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each student is tested at the beginning of the year to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate level. This very communicative method includes articles and newspapers as well as literary texts.
Teenagers progress in stages according to specific criteria. Grammar, vocabulary, written production, listening comprehension, and written comprehension are evaluated regularly.
Level Starter
Adapted to teenagers, the first level called “Starter” of the course book “English in Mind”, corresponds to level A1 of the CEFR.

Finally, projects and writing tasks allow students to build their own portfolios to develop their autonomy and to confront the practical use of the language.
