Based in Geneva since 1986, Arnie’s Language School offers a wide range of English and French courses. As a complement to their school education, Arnie’s accompanies children and teenagers to achieve perfect mastery of the target language and pass the most advanced qualifications.
For English, Arnie’s welcomes children from 2 years old to familiarise them with the language as part of their playtime. These very playful and engaging activities open the child’s mind during a crucial period of their development and constitute a very important asset for their subsequent learning. At the end of this period, the child knows many songs in English, and understands the teacher’s instructions.
From the age of 5, the child begins the actual learning of the language, first with Arnie’s own teaching tools, then using the Cambridge methodology. The effectiveness of learning is based on a playful and modern pedagogical approach such as the use of iPads.
A comprehensive teen program significantly enhances academic learning and helps our students to reach an excellent level in English. It allows those who wish to, to pass all the Cambridge exams, from First Certificate to the highest level Proficiency exam, for which we have had a success rate of 100% since 2013.
Every summer, Arnie’s also organizes a Summertime program for children of all ages, allowing them to learn while having fun.
For adults, the school offers through its specialized department RL Learning foreign language courses: English, French, Chinese, Brazil Portuguese, Japanese, Arab, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Bulgarian. Courses can be general, thematic-centered (for example business, conversation, everyday life, etc.) or shot for the purpose of passing an exam.
In parallel, the school organizes study holidays to England for children, as well as linguistic stays for adults: a real success!
The school celebrates its 32 years of teaching in this happy and successful environment: from toddlers to teenagers and their parents, to the teachers and all those who have contributed to its success.
